With the Setlist Manager App, you can do all of that:

Manage your songs, including tunings and artists (in case you are covering songs).
Create setlists for your gigs.
Setlists can be created automatically based on the duration of the gig, how you rated the songs and further parameters.
Automatic setlists can try to minimize the change of tuning, so you have more time on stage for music instead of changing instruments or tuning.
Of course, you can also create a setlist manually.
Share your setlist with your fans.
Open the setlist in a browser and print it.
Choose what information to print (song names, artist names, tunings).

Create your song library

Add all the songs you play to the library.
Organize them by artists, if required.
Sort it in the way you want (by song name or artists).

The song library is probably where you will start. Without songs, your setlists will be pretty short.

At any time, you can edit all the details of the songs. You might want to add artists to the songs, in case you are covering music. You will later be able to filter them when creating an automatic setlist, for example.

Also, tunings might be important. If you play songs with different tunings, you might want to keep them together on a setlist.

Define the songs

Songs with the same name may exists but must be from different artists.
You can create any number of artists.
The duration of the songs result in the length of the setlist.
Rate the songs with stars. The more stars it has, the more likely it is to appear on a random setlist.
Songs can have different tunings. Even for different instruments.
You can define the tunings freely in Setlist Manager.
If requested, a random setlist will try to keep similar tunings together to avoid change of instruments on stage.

Manage your setlists

Setlists are basically an ordered collection of songs. When you have a gig with your band, you would usually hand out a copy of the setlist to each musician.

Have all your setlists in one view.
Setlist Manager will show the name, date, duration and venue of the setlist.
Sort them either by date, name or venue.
Setlists can even be shared with your fans. Just let the app create a link to a printable version.

Setlist details

Of course, you can have a setlist just for practicing. But usually, you want to play it live for an audience.

Therefore, a setlist contains certain properties you can temper with.

Each setlist has a unique name.
The venue of the gig.
The date of the gig.
An "artificial" break between songs. Since you will not be playing the songs back to back, consider some break between the song, which will be calculated into the duration of the setlist.

Obviously, you can add songs to setlist and order them individually. The tunings of the songs will be shown so that you can keep songs with the same tunings together.

Random setlists

Setlist Manager lets you create random setlists just by specifying a few simple parameters.

The maximum duration of the setlist.
Optionally, the venue and date of the gig.
The break between songs.
The artists to consider.
Ratings of the songs can be respected or not. If switched on, songs with higher rating will more likely be in the setlist.
When sorting the setlist, Setlist Manager can try to keep the tunings together automatically.

After creating the random setlist, it can be edited just as any other setlist.
